British Cleaning Solutions approached us as they were unhappy with their existing website. This was not just down to the design but also the way it functioned.
They had previously been running PPC campaigns but were forced to use a separate website and domain for their landing pages. Their old site could not support custom landing pages or the ability to display tailored elements that only apply to those pages. (We’ll explain more about this later.)
They also felt the current design did not reflect their brand. They wanted a fresh look that aligned more closely with their business identity and could eventually tie in with new booklets, quotes, and email signatures that we were also commissioned to design.
After a number of meetings and calls, we had a clear understanding of what was needed. The solution was a custom WordPress development that could support dynamic content and give the ability to switch a page into a “Landing Page” at the click of a button.
The design also needed to reflect the brand by feeling sharp, modern, and above all, clean.
To ensure the website carried the same design throughout, we created dynamic modules that allowed British Cleaning Solutions to add a template to any page and then populate the content dynamically.
We achieved this using custom fields and bespoke PHP within WordPress.
British Cleaning Solutions also needed the ability to add multiple locations and sectors to their website without having to build each page manually.
To solve this, we created a static template for both sectors and locations that remained consistent across the site. All they needed to do was upload a couple of images and enter the sector or location name, and the system automatically generated a new page. Each page was still unique enough for SEO, as we dynamically inserted the location name throughout the content while the images provided the variation.
Finally, we developed dynamic landing pages specifically for pay-per-click campaigns.
To achieve this, we built new options within WordPress that allow British Cleaning Solutions to enable dedicated landing page features.

With these improvements in place, the landing pages now achieve a 25% conversion rate.
We needed the design of this website to feel clean and sharp. To achieve this, we used a modern style known as “frosted glass.”
This approach gave the site a fresh, professional look while still feeling crisp and in line with the brand. You can see the final result below.
