A bespoke website for Sarah

Authentic, personal and easy to manage.

We recently worked with Sarah Haddow as she launched her own practice. Sarah needed a website that felt true to her and avoided the cold, clinical style often seen with professional sites. From the outset, we were committed to delivering something that looked and felt authentic, while also being simple for her to update and manage.

Sarah's vision

Sarah wanted a site that reflected her personality and the value of her services. It was important to her that visitors felt welcomed and reassured, rather than being presented with a typical, formal layout. We shared her vision and were keen to create a design that would connect with her clients.

To achieve the look and feel Sarah wanted, we introduced modern fonts and a clean design style. These choices kept the website readable and engaging, while adding a personal touch that stood apart from the usual clinical design.

The Design Process

Utilising WordPress CMS.

We built Sarah’s website on a bespoke WordPress theme created just for her. This gave us the freedom to design a layout and structure that suited her practice perfectly, rather than relying on a pre-made template.

Simple to manage backend.

A key requirement for Sarah was being able to update the site herself without hassle. To make this possible, we integrated custom fields that keep the site easy to use while giving her control over content. She can now edit and update the website quickly, keeping everything relevant and up to date.

Working to budget

As this was the start of Sarah’s new practice, we were mindful of costs. We prepared a competitive quote that made the project affordable without cutting corners. This allowed Sarah to get the professional website she needed, while still being confident in her investment.

As part of the project, we also designed Sarah a new logo. This project is a great example of how you don’t need a big budget to make an impact online.

To Conclude

When the website was complete, Sarah’s response said it all: “I’ve just had a quick scan while walking around Tesco! I’m beaming, I bloody love it!!!

Feedback like this makes all the hard work worthwhile and shows that the final site achieved everything she wanted.

This project was a great opportunity to show how a website can be built around someone’s personal style and services. The finished site is authentic, personal and easy for Sarah to manage as her practice grows.
