Through our work with fellow marketing agency MarketingBranch, based in the Bath/Bristol area, we had the chance to support RacingLine, a well-known brand that specialises in premium car tuning parts for Audi, Volkswagen, and beyond, on a sub-contract basis. Back in our early days, we took on lots of sub-contract work for other agencies as they wanted to take advantage of our skills.

RacingLine had built a solid reputation online, but they were facing a frustrating issue, their own dealers were ranking higher than them on Google for key parts searches. They wanted to take back control of how they appeared online.

To help, we put together a detailed on-site Google SEO strategy, drawing on our experience as an SEO agency, to get RacingLine’s website ranking where it should be.

The Project

Here's more about what was required from us.

This was a big project. We optimised over 300 pages across RacingLine’s website, each packed with detailed information about their tuning parts. The aim was simple: boost their visibility on Google and help them rank above their dealers for the right searches.

With such a competitive market, every detail mattered. We carefully reviewed and improved every aspect of on-site SEO, from metadata and image optimisation to the structure of each page.

By being thorough and methodical, we made sure nothing was missed in helping RacingLine climb the search rankings.

The Results

Google impressions increase by 112.5%.

In the first few months of the campaign, RacingLine saw a steady rise in their Google visibility, and that growth has only continued.

Today, their product pages attract strong and consistent exposure, proving just how effective a well-planned on-site SEO strategy can be. Their daily Google impressions more than doubled, jumping from around 8,000 to over 17,000 (112.5% increase).

Working alongside MarketingBranch on RacingLine’s on-site SEO campaign really showed the value of combining expertise and working as a team to achieve great results.

We’re grateful to have supported both MarketingBranch and RacingLine as subcontractors under the MarketingBranch name, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
