Skilled Summers were planning to run pay-per-click advertising with us, so we built them a landing page to support it. The campaigns were designed to capture signups for their 2025 summer camp in America.

Even though Skilled Summers already had a website, just like most of the clients we build landing pages for, we still created one anyway.
We carefully designed Skilled Summers’ landing page to do a few key things.
First, it needed to give potential summer camp counsellors exactly what they were after as soon as they landed. Because of the younger target audience, we kept things simple – a video, a bold heading, and a short description worked best here.
Right after that, we placed a contact form to capture leads straight away. For PPC campaigns, having a clear and easy-to-use form is essential. We put it in its own box with a countdown timer showing the final date to sign up, helping to build urgency.
Every call-to-action on the page was an anchor link. When clicked, it scrolled the user straight to the contact form rather than sending them to another page. That kept things quick and smooth.
We also made sure to include plenty of reviews from past camp counsellors who’d signed up, to help build trust and show others what the experience is really like.
While we’re very experienced at driving results through Google Ads, there’s never a guarantee that a website’s design and layout will convert as well as it could.
Skilled Summers’ ads achieved an incredible conversion rate of 23.75% – which is almost unheard of in a Google PPC campaign.
We reached this by making ongoing, data-led updates to the landing page, constantly tweaking things to get as many enquiries as possible.
After running the campaign for a few months, it was clear the landing page had done exactly what it needed to.
By combining smart design with regular, data-led tweaks, we helped make Skilled Summers’ PPC campaign a real success.
What many people overlook is how much Google Ads rely on a strong, well-structured page to perform properly. That’s why we often build them free of charge – and this project is a great example of why it works.
