Where it all started
Many years ago, our directors crossed paths on YouTube.
Over 10 years ago, before CreateTheWeb was even an idea, Otis Wilkinson and Luke Jeffrey (our directors) were YouTube influencers, working day in and day out to “make it” on the platform. This is where their hard-working traits were formed. YouTube is an incredibly difficult platform to get noticed on, but both Otis and Luke were determined. Otis and Luke regularly live streamed on YouTube to boost growth and exposure. In one of these live streams, Otis accepted donations for charity. During the stream, Luke donated one pound. After the stream ended, Luke reached out to Otis, and a bond was formed through their shared love of social media and YouTube.
Both Luke and Otis reached over one million subscribers on YouTube and now have Gold and Silver awards hanging on their office wall, which were sent from the CEO of YouTube as a testament to their hard work.
2016
Experience Was Built
Experience in digital marketing was built through personal projects.
After YouTube, Otis and Luke ran eCommerce stores, where they discovered their passion for digital marketing and advertising. While managing these stores, they dedicated countless hours to learning and taking courses on Meta advertising, Google SEO, email marketing, and various other marketing strategies. Their hard work paid off, and the online stores became highly successful.
2017
CreateTheWeb
Many years later, CreateTheWeb was formed.
Many years later, Otis took it upon himself to start what is now known as “CreateTheWeb.” He began the business on his own, personally knocking on local businesses’ doors in Bath, cold calling, and making every effort to generate interest. Otis was determined to make the business succeed and stopped at nothing to get CreateTheWeb off the ground. With persistence and hard work, Otis began working with local companies, building their websites. This eventually expanded to providing support with social media, IT, and much more. Around a year later, Luke joined CreateTheWeb as a director, and the partnership was formed. Luke brought fresh ideas and valuable skills to the table, which had an immediate impact on the company’s growth and success.
2025
Where We Are Today
In August 2025, we're still going strong and love what we do.
It’s now 2025 and we’re still going strong. We now work with a wide range of companies all around the world, helping them drive success with digital marketing. Our drive to do well for our clients is built from a passion for anything digital. Even after office hours, Otis and Luke choose to spend their time reading and learning about new ways to drive success for themselves and their clients. This is done simply due to their love for what they do. We’ve always been extremely conscious of our customer service and all of our clients praise us for it. We’re human, and we recognise that you are too. We feel that far too many companies are robotic and inauthentic, but not us. Our team has now grown and expanded, helping more and more businesses grow all over the world.
