Our Work

A Luxury Travel Brand, Across Every Channel

The Luxury Travel Society curates premium holidays across more than 300 hotels worldwide, from twin-centre escapes to safaris and tailor-made tours, alongside its sister brand, The Maldives Travel Society. It is a business built on high-value bookings, where every enquiry is a serious traveller planning a significant trip.

CreateTheWeb is their full-service digital partner. We rebuilt their website, we run their Google Ads, and we manage their social media. These three channels feed each other and, together, keep the pipeline full of booking-ready leads.

A Website Built to Convert

When we took over the paid search, one thing was clear: the website was holding it back. An ageing, custom WordPress build was dragging down conversion rates on the very campaigns we were paying to drive traffic to. Great clicks were landing on a dated experience, so we rebuilt it.

Migrating 300+ Hotels, Cleanly

The biggest job was the data. We migrated over 300 hotels, along with their countries and locations, off the old, incorrectly-configured CMS and into a clean, properly-structured system. We set up dedicated post types for each kind of trip (Twin Centre, Multi Centre, Safari and Tour), each with its own page template, so every holiday is presented in the format that suits it.

A CMS the Team Can Actually Use

We also made the site far easier to run. Images are now compressed automatically on upload, dynamic quote links populate the enquiry forms without anyone touching code, and the team can format content confidently without writing a single line of HTML.

Hotel Pages Designed to Sell

Every hotel landing page was redesigned with paid traffic in mind: a modern bento-box gallery, a clearer typographic hierarchy, and a layout that draws visitors in. The effect was immediate. Visitors now spend more time exploring the site before they enquire, and the redesign delivered a significant lift in conversions from the PPC campaigns. We also built a fully responsive mega-menu spanning 25 countries, so finding a destination is effortless on any device.

Pay Per Click That Delivers Booking-Ready Leads

We manage Google Ads for both The Luxury Travel Society and The Maldives Travel Society, with budgets reaching up to £500 per day. The goal was never volume for its own sake. It was high-budget travellers ready to book a premium holiday, guided to a 'Quick Quote' form where they share exactly what they are looking for.

Targeting Intent, Not Just Traffic

We built campaigns around specific hotel-name keywords to reach people with genuine booking intent, which drove a noticeable increase in higher-quality enquiries. We also learned, through careful testing, that chasing the lowest possible cost per click or cost per conversion was the wrong target. Once we optimised for high-quality leads at the right cost per conversion instead, sales lifted.

The Numbers

Our ad copy now achieves a click-through rate of between 8% and 15%, and the redesigned landing pages pushed conversion rates from 1.8% to nearly 5% at their peak. Together, the campaigns deliver between 40 and 100 conversions every month, and crucially, these are leads genuinely ready to book.

Social That Fills the Pipeline

We handle social media end to end for both brands: more than 60 posts a month in total, posting daily across Instagram and Facebook. Because of the sheer number of hotels and details involved, content is the hard part, so we source it all from hotel resources each month and load it onto a shared calendar for the client to review, amend and approve. It requires no work from their team.

Paid Social That Grows the Audience

Alongside the organic calendar, we run Meta advertising: video ads to grow page followers and likes, and post-boosting to push standout hotels and offers. The Luxury Travel Society's Facebook page gained close to 1,000 new likes within months, and The Maldives Travel Society grew from zero to 500 followers in a single month, passing 1,000 soon after.

Reach That Translates to Enquiries

Across the two brands, content now reaches over 40,000 potential customers a month, and that visibility shows up where it matters, with a clear influx of enquiries from Instagram and Facebook and a noticeable lift in the PPC campaigns the social presence supports.

One Partner, Every Channel

The website, the paid search and the social all pull in the same direction: a faster, better-converting site to send traffic to; campaigns that bring high-intent travellers to it; and a social presence that builds the brand and reinforces both. That is the advantage of having one team across the whole picture, and it is why The Luxury Travel Society remains an ongoing partnership.
