Project Preparation.
We had multiple conferences with the client to get a firm understanding of the requirements, goals and objectives for the project. The client informed us that they would ideally like to rank in the first 3 SERP positions for their dominant keywords (keywords that the majority of customers will discover them by). Our client also informed us that a competitor had recently closed down and they wanted to dominate the SERP position for that location too.

Website Design Phase.
The website was designed with the intentions of generating as many orders as possible from all received traffic. With any marketing campaign that leads potential customers back to a website, the marketing material is only 50% of the equation, the website they land on has to be perfectly constructed as well.
The website was designed with primary brand colours, while also keeping the brand guidelines in mind for font, animations and approach.
Due to a wide demographic age range potentially using the website and purchasing our client's products, the website had to be extremely user friendly and function just as the customer would expect. For this, our design specialists had to put themselves in the potential customer's shoes to envision how they'd react to the website and placing an order. As a result of this, a finely crafted, easy to use checkout system was developed with our clients chosen payment gateway that synced with their on-premises card machine. With demographic still in mind, the rest of the site was developed precisely to accommodate our clients potential and recurring customers. To accomplish this, easy to use gift messages and product selections were added in an elegant, user-friendly way.

Our design team then had to consider the categories and product navigation. Due to a variety of products, a well-thought-out product navigation system had to be deployed for a successful design. To accomplish this, we designed and configured a precise wireframe that was tweaked, poked and adjusted to reach a final design that will serve well for any potential customers landing on the website. Furthermore, this area of the website had to be set up to ensure that it retained visitors attention by keeping them adding to cart and interacting with the website while still being easy to use.
From there, we completed the design of the generic website information and pages that you'd expect to find on any premium development.
Once the design was complete, it was thoroughly tested on mobile, tablet and desktop devices to ensure that it was responsive and looked sharp for all visitors no matter the screen size. Then, it was tested in all modern browsers.

SEO & Analysis.
As with all our websites, we then configured all of the necessary Google tracking software so we could analyse the traffic and progress of our results (the client also had access to these statistics). We spent an additional 5 days analysing our client's competitors. We thoroughly audit the SEO structure and website optimisation to give us a better understanding of the framework that's going to be required to out-rank their competitors.
Once the analysis of competitors, search volumes and current SERP's was complete, we began optimising the SEO structure on the website, as well as the off-site SEO. We completed the initial SEO foundation and link building campaigns within 30 days. Once we completed our initial SEO work, we began to monitor the performance of the website and SEO. Not only that, but we were also continuing to monitor the website as a whole, to ensure visitors and staff were getting a smooth, flawless experience when using the website.
After 60 - 90 days of consistent recurring SEO work and website updates, our clients were receiving +800% more website traffic compared to their prior website. Since then, we have continued to run SEO campaigns. The results have fluctuated but never fell below our new baseline monthly traffic (+800%) that we accumulated for the client.
Our client is now expanding their operation due to an opening of funding from the website project, and will soon be scaling their campaign further to increase traffic and orders again.
